Lupus Support Group
Lupus is an auto-immune disease in which the immune system cannot distinguish between threats (like viruses and bacteria), and healthy cells and tissue. As a result, the body produces antibodies that inflict cell damage, most commonly targeting joints, skin, kidneys and the nervous system. Join the group and find support for coping with lupus.
Anyone have experience with these ?
I can't seem to find much description on these. I don't think I get mouth ulcers but I do get blood blisters in my mouth - you the kind like what you get when you bite your cheek...only I don't bite my cheek. They are usually on the inside of my cheek but have also been at the back where my gums meet my cheek - they just spontaneously appear.
Yesterday I got a big one - the size of a dime. I used a pin to pop it (eww, I know, but it was big). Today I have this loose skin bugging me - I only drained it out the bottom so it is still intact.
Sorry if that sounds too gross - but is this a mouth ulcer or just some other silly thing ????
