Lupus Support Group
Lupus is an auto-immune disease in which the immune system cannot distinguish between threats (like viruses and bacteria), and healthy cells and tissue. As a result, the body produces antibodies that inflict cell damage, most commonly targeting joints, skin, kidneys and the nervous system. Join the group and find support for coping with lupus.

I hope you feel better soon.
P.S. Internet shopping helps me to feel better (guess I'm a bit of a shopaholic).
When I was working and the Lupus started, I suffered in silence, I would be taking a break every hour, and felt so bad at doing this, and then the times when I never got to work i felt depressed because no one understood. My advise to anyone suffering bad with lupus is to quit work. it is not worth the pain. If you can get by without more material things we all seem to crave instead of putting our health first.
Any negativity that can come from people that do not understand me, can upset me and I am working on this. Tomorrow I am going to a workshop on "quitening your mind". Hope it works because i am always 90% in brain fog.
When ever you have the opportunity to rest do it, let others help, and when nessasary ASK for help. Love and Blessings
I know there are alot of us who take something for depression because it is necessary as part of our treatment. Many have never suffered from any type of emotional/anxiety/panic issues until they were diagnosed. There is nothing wrong with needing to take something for this problem. It can help a great deal if you are open to trying it. Again, it may not be something under your control if your disease is affecting your brain chemicals. Just know there are meds that can help with this.
