Not sure what to do

Hi Friends!

I have posted before and I would like to hear your thoughts on working and making the deceicion on filing for ssid. I have worked in a pre-school for 8 years and it was getting pretty crazy in the room. And I can't seem to stay awake the fatigue hits me hard and I need to lay down. I thought maybe if I transfred to anthor position would help so I did, as a custodial for the school but I have worked to full days and I am in so much pain I can barely walk , RA , lupus, psoriatic arthritis, Graves , fatigue. 2 small brain aneurysms that need to be watched.. I am to the point of just saying the hell with trying to work but then again I do need income. I did file ssid a year and half ago but got denied so I just gave up and tried to keep working.But now its different.. I cryed all the way home today trying to figure out what I am going to do. They always deny first go round and often second filing. Dirty trick to deter you and it saved them paying you for a year! Keep filing and calling or cut to the chase and hire a lawyer to streamline the porocess.

you need to talk to your doctor in helping prove you cannot work. you have been forcing yourself to work for a year, you can even claim you were disabled then. i apologize if you don't like that term, i don't either. Too much stress, and pushing yourself, can cause lupus flare-ups and lupus is a life-threatening disease. you may have to re-file, i think you can only appeal your case after 90 days (not sure about how right i am on that).

i, personally, am on dialysis and so i had a social worker that helped me TONS and my doctor is very, very kind and tried to make it as easy as possible because she knows how bad my condition gets and doesn't want it getting worse. try talking to your doctor, they really do want to help.
