Hi Friends:

I have really bad GERD. Could prednisone be making it worse? GERD is new for me. I never had it until Lupus.

Wow! Thanks for that link. I had NOT put that together - that my digestive issues have actually gotten worse (gerd) with prednisone, while others got better (colitis).

Thank you for the feedback. I just got my rheumatologist to reduce my prednisone dose to 10 mg. She's been cutting the back because the thought would be that the Plaquenil should take care of everything and I'll just use the prednisone for flares. It will be interesting to see if I begin to see improvements with reducing the prednisone. I'll let you guys know.
