I have had the ANA blood test and it came back positive but my family doctor doesn't want to say anything until I see a Rheumy because simply she isn't specialized in this and she told me this is a very complicated disease. I have not been diagnosed,but my mom has and this burning in the sun and joint pains started when I turned 22 I am 24 and I just thought hey I am getting older my body is alot different. I realized it isn't just that because the rash is badddddd and the pains are just as bad. You are not alone when you say you don't know because I am completely lost until I see a rheumy!!!

I am with you. I don't see a rheumatologist until Aug 4, but I feel like I may not even survive until then!!!! I had the positive ANA with the Lupus characteristics, as well as the anti ds DNA. Not to mention tons of symptoms. My family doc won't touch it either..just wants me to get in with the rheumy first.
Do you overheat? I am curious if this is just normal (based on internet research, it is).....but I feel often like I am gonna pass out.
So your mom has it? My aunt does, but she keeps a lot to herself, so I am not very aware of how it affects you.
So good to not be alone. I just wanna sit and cry a lot. I can't, though, as I have a hubby and kiddos to keep running!

The rash used to go away in winter which felt so nice. I, now, have burns just from being hot. It's really bad now. I'm a little self conscious because my face looks so bad. I've seen the rheumatologist and he said he hasn't seen the rash before until me. Lol

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
