I kinda felt alone in this group as well. Posted something on Monday looking for support, and so far no replys. What has your experience been with Lupron? I was on daily 10 unit injections for a month, then 20 unit injections for a month and a half. I had headaches, insomnia, panick attacks, increased depression, rapid mood swings, and irritability (and I was on estrogen at the same time). Things got so bad my doctor doubled my estrogen and increased my antidepressant two weeks ago. Then this past Monday they took me off of the Lupron. I'm still having side effects, but they are milder.

I think many do not go here anymore is because it is depressing and we get tired of fighting with no help from doctors.

I want in on this law suit. I want Tap to have to explain why this drug had damaged so many lives!!! Please let me know what I can do and how I can get involved

Althoguht I have quite a bit of side effects that haven't gone away since my last injection of Lupron in Dec. 08, I can NOT find a doctor to understand what I"m going through. I can't find a doctor to believe this is related to Lupron. For crying out loud, I can't even find a doctor to adequately treat my endo let alone take my side effects from Lupron seriously. My quality of life has never been the same and most likely will never be the same. The problem is, I have very little energy left and trying to fight about this doesn't seem to be a battle that I can do alone. I would love to help in any way I can with trying to prove that Lupron can do this but I can't even get a doctor to acknowledge any bit of what I say and trust me, I've tried many doctors.

I'm new to this site today. I took Lupron back in 1991 for endometriosis. I was 28 years old. The doctor was very eager to give it to me and described it as a new miracle drug to treat the condition. She said the side effects mimicking menopause would be temporary. I was the first and only person she had tried it on and in retrospect, I think she used me as a lab rat. She was downright excited for me to take the injections despite my concerns- if only I had listened to my gut instincts! I reluctantly took the 6 months of injections. The side effects while taking it were night sweats mostly and nothing compared to what happened later. Within a year I was experiencing strange muscle pains, stomach problems, and went through what the rest of you are describing until I was eventually diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I felt like my body was suddenly and completely falling apart.

It was many years before I even heard the rumor that Lupron might be the cause of this disease. I'm horrified and heartbroken because maybe this didn't have to happen to any of us!! I've been looking for more info- what's out there beyond this site? Are there really lawsuits pending? How can we help each other?

Nobody should ever "try" Lupron. You can be badly injured on the first shot (like me)! Even if you feel OK at first, then you will keep taking it and eventually be injured. Lupron had a terrible reputation. It causes dystonia, vision loss, permanent bone pain, tooth loss, etc. Please Google Lupron Petition and Lupron Victims. And switch doctors! The doctors that prescribe Lupron are all butchers. And it's virtually impossible to get a lawyer for Lupron. Only one case has ever made it to trial and the judge wouldn't admit much evidence so the plaintiff lost.
