Hi, My Grandma was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer and just finished a round of chemo therapy and Radiation. It will be a few months until the oncologists can see if it was effective. In the mean time I know it's extremely important that we boost her immune system to help combat the cancer. I'm familiar with the Gerson Therapy, the Macrobiotic diet, and also the raw food method for cancer treatment diets. Does anyone have any experience with diet as treatment that can share some advice? Does anyone have any experience with any other alternative treatments?
this is a tough question you are asking because everyone's diet is different and every cancer is different. I have stage 3 lung cancer but chemo and radiation won't help me so my diet is to keep my weight up. So I eat anything I want but I also have to use some common sense also. I eat fast food once and a while.
I did go to a wellness Centre for treatment for cancer treatment plus I had vitamins and antioxidants administered through IV. I also had hyperthermia treatments. which is practiced in Germany. I don't know where you are located but I'm in Vancouver B.C. and the cancer agency has dieticians that will assist in setting up a proper diet at no charge.
