My husband went for his 3 month checkup yesterday. A chest and abdominal CT scan were done. He has pneumonia again, but even more worrisome is the fact that they found a second nodule on his adrenal gland, and he needs to have further testing. They found a nodule before he went in for his lung surgery in June, but after testing via PET Scan, it was determined that it was not malignant. My understanding is that it is rare for these tumors to be malignant; however, they are known to be a secondary cancer from lung cancer. Has anyone had any experience with adrenal gland problems? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
