I'm not sure if it's because of how I view myself or because of how the people in my life have lead me to view myself, but I've never really thought I was worth loving. Because of that, I go out of my way to try to help others and make other people happy. I don't think this is a bad thing however people of late have started to take advantage of this kindness and take it for granted. People assume it will always be like this, and that no matter what they do to me and how they treat me, I'll always be there to help them and care for them. And I always have, I forgive way too easily, I forget past hurts. I want to know how I can stand up for myself, how I can be as strong as I always wish I really am.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
It discusses how we seek approval from others, because we disapprove of ourselves. How at first it seems to work because when we are doing for others they tend to like us, however it is only temporary.
To reclaim our high self-esteem, we must eliminate the belief that we need others' approval and replace it with a healthy belief in ourselves.
