The hardest part

Heys guys. I'm new on this website, but I thought that I would give it a chance. I've been together with my boyfriend for almost 2 years now and we've been having the best time and I love him with all my heart. About one week ago he moved from Sweden, where we live, to the states. He will be studying for a year abroad but it's taki g hard on me. All of my friends also moved to different towns on Sweden but also other countries (all of them takes at least 5 hours by train to get go). I'm feeling so lonely although I know that this probably will be good for us. We decided to go for it and we are both equally committed. He's only been gone for a week and I've bern crying myself to sleep everyday since... Do any of you have any advice? Ground rules? I'm visiting him in December, but the time difference is 9 hours, so it's hard to fins time when we both can talk. Is there any way to make everyday happier? I really nees advice, we are not fighting or anything, I just need advice what to focus on when i'm getting down... All tips are wanted! ❤️

My boyfriend only lives 200 miles away but still it is very difficult to see each other because of work and other commitments. We see each other every 2 months but the waiting part is so so hard. You will get theough it because you love them. I have a horse which really helps because I can go hug her and talk to her and keep my self busy... It really helps when you have other things to think about and things to do because it takes your mind of them and how much you miss them, we facetime nearly every night aswell which helps.
What I would suggest is not talking 24/7 telling them what your doing or asking because when you do get time to call them you end up having nothing to talk about because you already know... It gets frustrating because you wanna talk and talk and talk but you end up getting nothing out of them. Jealously is another big factor that will be very difficult but you have to learn that he loves you and wants to be with you. Hope this is helpful

I am sorry that this is becoming so taxing on you. Remember that he is in love with you, and that he misses you just as much. Look back on what time you did have together. Cherish the memories you've shared. I have only ever been in a Long Distance Relationship so I can't even imagine what pain you must be feeling after having someone you could see, touch, hold, and love right then and there but then having to wait to see them again. Sometimes people say it's better to break it off, but the payoff is absolutely worth it in the end. Tell him about how you miss him, and plan for what you will do once you are together again.
