my boyfriend and I have been dating since February. He only recently left to join the Air Force in August. I’m able to talk to him at this point, because he’s past basic training. And he’s actually supposed to come down on the 22nd for holiday. But lately I’ve been feeling like something is very off.

we talk every single day, usually around 6-5pm. He’s the one that calls me, which is nice of course. But lately I’ve been realizing how damaging all this talking can be, his whole attitude in my opinion has changed. He doesn’t say all the nice things he used. And he certainly doesn’t talk as much. But at the same time I do realize that talking too much will eventually lead to not having anything to talk about. 

(at the same time I’ll admit when I’m nervous I have a very hard time coming up with things to say..)

not only that but he got a new computer too, so he spends all his time around that, and the last couple calls, I ask to just sit and talk with him for a bit, and he can only look at me for a few seconds before staring back at the screen.

I actually had a talk the other day about how I was nervous for the future, and how I started thinking that things were changing and he didn’t seem to feel the same anymore. He responded by telling me he felt a bit hurt that I didn’t have more faith in him, and how he tries his best to assure me about how he feels and how he really does love me. 

Despite that I still get these feelings that everything isn’t okay? And honestly my head just hurts from all this stress. and I sometimes even question if this’ll last. But I’m also afraid that I’m just overreacting and thinking about that stuff out of frustration.

Overall, I do love him very much, and I want this relationship to last.

i don’t know what I should do, and I’d really appreciate some advice.
