Long Distance Relationships (LDR) Support Group
This community is a place where you can share your long distance challenges and triumphs, vent, give long distance tips and ideas, or just get support from people like you who are going through the same thing. Whether you live a couple hours away or a couple continents away, the specific challenges that face a long distance relationship are unique and difficult.
My advice would be to mourn the end of a good first relationship & take what you liked about it & look for that in the next one.
Also, I would suggest you getting yourself busy too with some friends, a pet or a hobby. My bf is away in Maine right now and I'm in Virginia. My job keeps me very busy, and I do theater which keeps me occupied, I have a rabbit who is so much work, and I have friends. An my bf and I only talk once a day, he barely text me and i get one phone call so sometimes I feel like I'm single and alone. So the more activities you do and the busier you are, the less you think about it. And it makes it easier to move on as well. I started doing all of those things when my last bf and I broke up and i got back into them once my current bf left and they've been extremely helpful. I hope you can get through it. A broken heart is hard but just think that he was never worth crying over in the first place
