I think I messed up. I tried to fix it. She called to tell me she was tired and had taken some pills to calm her down. She had a fight with her 18 year old son last night. So tonight she is tired. This is the first time she misses our night phone call since we started our LDR. I became very anxious and asked her if she did not WANT to talk to me tonight. I asked a couple of times. In part I did this because she was being unclear about what she wanted. She just told me, call me but I might not answer because I might be resting, and I will try to call you later. So I asked her if she wanted me to call or not. She said call in 20 minutes. I did. No answer. Then I felt like an inconsiderate and desperate jerk and texted her "REST, CALL ME ONLY IF YOU CAN" Do you think I fixed my mistake? I am telling her to rest. I feel stupid. I was not supportive. But my text was. I hope she gets the right message and forgets my initial reaction asking her if she did not WANT to talk to me. Please Tell me if I fixed it and what else I can do to fix what I did. It may be too late. Maybe tomorrow I can tell her I completely understand how tired she felt. I just misssed our usual night phone call. That's all. I am not desperate. I just missed her. I could not talk last night either because of her son's episode. LDR are so difficult. Anxiety is always present.
