I met my boyfriend in an MMO two years ago and we became friends right from the start. We started talking more and started a relationship. We started talking on my cell phone and he paid for it, it was $60 a month. Then when we only been in our relationship for 3 to 4 months.
I was 16 and he had just turned 18. I told my parents about him and they disapproved right away and didn't care about anything I had to say. I called him and had them talk to him and they basically told him to not ever talk to me again. So, they took away my cell phone and took internet away from me.
I had my PSP though and was talking to him through that and I found my old cell phone and was talking to him through that. But, he paid for that cell phone too which was also $60 a month. We talked more and just kept our relationship a secret.
He told his parents about me and they really don't care about our relationship. My cell phone broke and I was talking to him on my house phone when I could and my parents eventually gave me the internet back. I found the cell phone my parents took from me and called him with that. He paid for that one which was, $60 a month.
We talk all the time and love and help each other. Then my parents somehow found out that I was using my PSP to talk to him and my cell phone fell in the toilet and I couldn't talk to him for a month. That was hell and torture to me.
I bought another cell phone and that was only $20 a month and I decided to pay for it. We talk all the time everyday as much as we can using any kind of way to contact each other.
I know eventually I have to tell my parents about him and I'm thinking this week would be a good week. His parent treat him like shit and just want him to pay the bills for them. He quit his job and his parents got pissed at that for some reason.
But anyway..i gotta tell my parents about him soon so we can be together. But, i guess I'm just looking for different ideas.

How old r u know? I told my parents about my bf when i was 20, back in march. I told them like it was. I said I met a guy online and we both love each other and that he was coming out here to visit. I did not leave room for them to say yes or no. They took it much better than I thought. Unfortunately things went bad with him getting out here in march. But he was just recently out here for 2 in a half weeks. It was the best time of both of our lives. We both stayed at a hotel for a week and then at my parents house for a week in a half. He had to sleep in the basement while i slept in my room, it sucked but at least he was here and my parents ended up liking him. And they are allowing me to fly out to him for two weeks over my winter break. If your bf has the money you guys should set up a time for him to come out and get him into a cheap hotel. We stayed at motel 6, really cheap 25 or something like that dollars a night. Have him stay at the hotel and then after u guys have met in person and everything seems to be ok he should come over to ur house and meet your parents. Everything worked out fine with me and my bf, we love each other more than ever now that we have physically met. Nothing was different between when we hadn't physically met to know. Everything worked out very well. But first things first with you guys, how old is he and how old r u?

Well, I'm 18 and I told my parents about him the day after I wrote all that. The thing is, after I told them about him, my boyfriends father passed away the same day. My parents want to meet my bf and everything, but he won't be coming here any time soon because of his situation. Everything worked out, but he lost his father right after everything worked out. His father and his mother knew about me but, his father never found out that things worked out. It's really hard for my boyfriend because he is his fathers only child that is blood related to him. I'm just trying to support him through this the best way I can.

Yea that's rough, my bf had some deaths in his family too which kept him from coming. Just be there to support him through this. Good luck, sorry about his father!!!
