So, I lied to my girlfriend about me being a year older than I really am. Should I even ask for her trust back? Should I tell the truth? I honestly feel like a jerk and I probably am.
I always feel uncomfortable being a child, and I feel that adults get more respect in society... Me and my girlfriend are a year apart in age, so I don't think that this will be too much of a difference....but what should I do?..Do I tell her he truth?

Maybe if you can identify the reason you lied you could tell her that as well. She probably still wouldn't be happy that you lied but at least she'd have some clarity as to why.
Honesty is the best policy.
