Hi,

I've been in a long-distance relationship for almost 4 years. My man lives in Ireland and I live in Canada.

I came to this forum for support re. almost empty-nest and decided to check out the LDR comments too.

Welcome to the board Sara.

Tell us about your relatioinship. Do the two of you have plans in the near future of being together? How often do you get to see each other?

Partner and I have been in a LDR for 4 1/2 years, I'm in PA, he's in NC. I'll be moving to NC within the year.

Hi, He's coming here, to stay, at the end of May. We've been seeing each other about 3 times a year, for two weeks at a time but we go four months without seeing each other and that has been hard.

Welcome aboard! My fiance is originally from the UK as well. We both live in the USA now and I'll be moving to his state in a few months.

You only have a few months to go as well...how exciting! :)
