I think a lot people hold on to someone they once loved because of familiarity.
To me, there's a big difference between missing someone because they're not around and you were used to a pattern and really WANTING to be with someone, do fun and loving things with them, and grow with them as a couple. Attachment is more about looking back, reminiscing. Really being in love involves looking ahead and wanting to guild a life together.
That's just my 2 cents!

Well even when I try to move on I can never develop anything beyond just a crush... It just dies. I want to say I'm still in love with this man, but I haven't seen him in over a year........ I'm just not sure anymore. We're suppose to see eachother in Sept. when he visits me at my college and I think that will be the deciding factor for both of us.

Sometimes when u are away for a long time you forget the love u felt when u were last together. Maybe the lack of contact has brought that memory further and further from ur mind! The visit will definitely show you how you feel!
