This community is a place where you can share your long distance challenges and triumphs, vent, give long distance tips and ideas, or just get support from people like you who are going through the same thing. Whether you live a couple hours away or a couple continents away, the specific challenges that face a long distance relationship are unique and difficult.
I think it's absolutely possible. And I think it's worth a shot. But just to prepare you in advance, GENERALLY (not everyone, but generally), you're going to go through this romantic period where it seems you will do anything for each other, move mountains, fly across the world-- it is so romantic. But as far as *love*, I firmly believe that love is a choice you make when you have the option to quit the relationship, it's getting rocky, yet you choose not to because you love the person.
I would embrace this time - I promise you it's going to be wonderful! And just see how it goes. It could work, it might not, but do you really want to wonder what you missed out on by not going for it?
I am on my second LDR and I feel very good. I have another concerns in my life but both relationships teach me a lot about me and life issues. I didn't look for be in a second LDR, it just happened...
I am glad to hear you are with her and you are able to manage to visit her in Finland!!! You are a wonderful girl!!!
I know it is "some kind of difficult" to manage the distance and the loneliness of live every day without be psychically with your partner. However, I deeply believe the long distance couples share more good quality time than some other couples because we devote the time to be in touch with our beloved and let her/him know what we are doing.
Don't cry more, you have the bless or good luck to have found someone you love and maybe you miss her a lot but if your love grow and get stronger, your soul will never be alone again.
