This evening I walked from the rundown hotel room that is home to a church. I wanted to find out where the church was and how long it would take me to walk there so that I can be on time for their Wednesday night service tomorrow. It's all part of my plan to attend one or two churches a week until I find one that suits my needs. Basically, I am looking for a church that has normal people in its congregation. By normal, I mean people with jobs and families and cars and all that. I am starving for contact with normal, decent people after having been around the other kind of people for so many years. This is an experiment that I am conducting. I don't drink or smoke and I don't like to be around people who do, so going to bars and clubs to meet people is out of the question. I don't presently have a job or go to school, so those two things are not options as places to meet people. It was a nice walk because no one hassled me this time. Tomorrow I'll go to the church service.

Can you identify these rom-coms from just a screenshot from the middle of the films? This is a multiple choice quiz so even if you're not entirely sure you can always take a guess and at least have a 25% chance of getting it right anyway, so why not have a go?! https://www.buzzfeed.com/alysaurus688/rom-com-screenshot-trivia-quiz

What am I up to? Playing online till it's time to go to bed, when I'll think about doing it all again tomorrow. Just got home from work which was very boring as always. I hate having to work. I so deeply envy people who don't have to work. It almost makes me physically sick.
I don't drink at all and don't like going places where people are drinking either. I do hope you can find normal people to fit in with. I tried it and didn't fit in because I'm not normal. I don't have a family or a car etc. But anyway, best wishes
Sometimes just sitting in a church and looking at the architecture and the incredible stained glass is so peaceful, and in a church that is very old, you may find incredible carving.
A program on cable TV has a very old church that people bought and make into a home. To satisfy the old community they lived in, the buyers kept the part of the church where you enter as a dining room area and kept the beautiful stained glass windows, used pews to make dining room chairs and even to make an incredible dining table and the floors are beautiful. I believe it was old time candle sconces on the walls. They redid the rest of the church as they wanted. The community was very happy and even visited to see how respectful they were of the old church property and were pleased. It was beautiful.
Monday I will be attending an orientation for a job search program run by the county of San Diego. Wish me luck!
Church was not the subject of the question turning...the question was what are you up to? You took that as an opening to bash people who have gone to church for any reason other than why you might be going to church...bad behavior...sorry calling you out....but it was what are you up to...
So I will talk about what I am up to...been busy with my driving school so much this year...I am ahead of my good years past in earnings so far this year and haven't reached peak season yet...
I did some purchasing for give aways to students out of a catalog that came in mail...went online and purchased ID holder/zipper coin purse with clip for keys...will be giving them to students either as a gift at Christmas inside a Christmas card or over the course of their lesson work...not sure which way the wind will blow quite yet....but the gifts will be given with confidence that they will be enjoyed...
other than those things I keep going to AA....that keeps me semi busy and I have been hitting meetup group events...got one tomorrow Saturday for pizza in early afternoon 4pm...two gals and I will be having dinner together for the meetup unless others decide to join us...or if someone no show then I guess I might end up alone?
