When I married my first husband, he was home on leave from the military, proposed and he wanted to get married then and return from his leave and then have me follow when he got a place for us to live. We did our talking about all the stuff, money, kids, all that and I finally agreed, then he called his C.O. and got permission (back then they needed permission to marry--I don't know if they still need it) and a bit of extended time.
We put together a quick wedding and I even had a professional wedding dress maker make a beautiful wedding dress for me. I had a nice wedding in a pretty church, a small reception and a short honeymoon right in that same state. It is amazing what you can do when you have to.
Under the circumstances, you could have the wedding at an earlier date than you planned (before his job changes), cut the wedding party to one person each, and focus on the wedding being about you two as the couple because that's what it really is all about. Why have bridesmaids that you really don't want and that are unwilling--I would chuck that idea and either have one person or no people.
To get this stressed, figure out what is stressing you and ways to eliminate those areas of stress or to change those areas of stress.
Congratulations on meeting the man of your dreams and your upcoming marriage.
I have been married twice. One a small intimate wedding and the other a typical wedding. I remember both equally. The most memorable part was looking into his eyes and saying my vows and being told we are man and wife. Those are the moments that your heart soars.
Look at the meaning of marriage, the love, joy and commitment. not all the fluff. You will be a much happier bride.
