Just had a great Mexican Lunch for Father's Day with my daughter, sil, grandson and his wife & new baby, and I am now back in my apartment to watch a bit of TV and communicate on my laptop. Being single and living alone sure can have it's moments of loneliness.

yes I understand that Lon...I am not a father....so I just went to church this morning to hear my AA sponsor preach his last sermon at this chuch as he is moving away next week....then friend and I went for five mile bike ride in 90+ temps today with bright sunshine....it was fun ride but brutally hot and sweaty....

Sounds like you are blessed with a wonderful family. I know when I don;t like being alone, I go out...even if it is to the library or to a Penera bread (with wifi access). Even though I may be alone and not have anyone to talk to...it is a blessing just to be in a setting with people around. Do you have options like that to at least get out...even if it is still to get on the internet?
