walking in this city, the sidewalks can get kinda crowded.
perhaps try thinking of all the benefits of walking and what you are thankful for. like example "its sunny, more healthy" etc.
i suppose its all about perspective :) dont give up on walking!! there will be better days

Lot of people in my town walk these days. But that's probably because our mayor is putting in so many damned roundabouts, people are afraid to drive. But I can imagine how lonely those walks must be without any to talk to. I used to walk home from school with a couple friends in my neighborhood. It was fun when they walked with me cause we could talk about things, but on the days where I'd walk alone, it was a drag. And seemed a lot longer of a walk.
knee surgery...i'm glad my broken leg was right below the knee and not knee itself.
i never could get myself to trim my dog's nails; maybe afraid; cats nails seem less trouble.
Watch out for those earphones----I have a 24 hr ringing in my ears, from 1984, probably from a combination of things, including earphones.

back in 1988 an ear specialist used a mini-vacume cleaner to suck the wax out of my ears; cost $150 and fixed my ears....till next day.
another 2 mile walmart walk this morning, though with carly simon lyrics of 'these are the good old days" somehow stuck in my brain!
i even read in a walmart tabloid that walking helps reduce lower back pain.
