Struggle if you have to to be fun and positive. I'll bet you will see a difference in the way your family treats you.
While this was going on I felt poorly because it felt like my parents liked my siblings better than they did me. In reality it was the opposite. Near the end of my father's life he told me that I was treated differently because he knew that I was the one who could take care of myself, and I was the only one he was really proud of.
Perhaps this is the case in some of the rest of you out there.
I would - polietly ask people to stop asking about her, try and tell someone how you feel so you don't keep it bottled up inside (someone out side of DS), and for every negative thought brought on by your sister replace it with at least two positive thoughts about yourself.

They think more of me these days...
My parents paid way more attention to my older sister than to me. I was 'just another girl' and anything I did, my sister had already done and probably done better. Family can be great, but some just don't get that we are ourselves, and not our cousin or sibling.
Try not to spend time wondering how to make these people notice and appreciate you. Just be yourself and live your life, do what makes you happy. Chances are, they will decide you're someone they want to know, after all. If not, it's their loss not yours.
In the big scheme of life, if does not matter is she is better looking than you, looks are such a superficial thing, the most important thing you can possess, is love and kindness..
