I know one guy here who is in that area but he has changed his name so many times I have not seen him in long time...looks to be a bit younger than you as you look more my age...I am 56 and anyway he is a black young man...I forget what his user names have been but when he shows a pic of himself I know it is same guy....he also always claimed he wanted to end it all on our site....so I do not know if he is still around maybe but he was looking for people in New York. and bronx area too....hugs I am in STL MO...so cannot just go get coffee with ya...LOL

well good luck with that aspect of this site....the women here are not seeking dates and such they want support for varied ailments or issues in their lives and I know for myself someone had thought I was trying to pick up women here and she got hell bent of being a B)Tch to me....and even got banned by DS for her posting about her hatred of me....

so forget the romeo aspect of a loneliness group on DS if you want a date get on free online dating sites like Plenty of Fish or OKCupid....they have plenty of womens pics in your area to look for a date with....

not being mean just not being supporter of male female pick ups on this loneliness groups site...

you could also join any singles group on meetup.com in that area as well and have a great chance to meet new "Friends" online....I am in several in my own area and having fun with meetup.com

It is best to try dating sites or meet up sites if you are looking for in person companionship. The people on this site are from all over the world so it will be hard to find many responses for a specific area.

You'll find that if you get on the boards and talk, more people get to know you and will discuss things with you. You become known and you get to know people. It begins to feel more comfortable.
