Hey guys I'm new to this group and DS as well. Guess I'll tell my background then go into why I joined the group.
First off I have mild cerebral palsy in my left side, that's the main reason I came to DS. I'm 26, out of college for a few years now with an A.S. degree, I've had a steady job since college, I'll have it until I find something else or a career job which is tough now.
I used to have a big group of friends in high school and throughout college, but we slowly started going our own ways, my best friend got heavy into pot and I tried to help him kick it but he wouldn't listen to any of us, then he started smoking up in my car and if we got pulled over I would have had a record, so for my own good I had to break off my friendship which was hard. I also lost contact with a lot of my other friends shortly after that because I was trying to graduate around that time as well so I didn't go out hardly ever, so after awhile they stopped calling cause I wouldn't go out every night partying. Since then I just haven't gone out and met new people for reasons I don't know, I'm just not the bar hopping, partying type where you'd likely meet people.
Well now to why I came here, first let me say I don't really get lonely that often, likely I said before I don't mind being alone most of the time, I'm not the partying type. I guess the reason I came on here was that I'm pretty sure I'm in love with a woman, my superior at work actually. She's just the most beautiful woman I've ever met, I'm talking personality mainly, as well as physical. I can't even really put my feelings for her into words. The problem is whenever I'm not at work or I think about her I get a very lonely feeling, and that's why I came on here.
Let me say that I've never had a steady g/f, I had one in high school and one in college, but both relationships didn't last long, and they were definitely not love, because I'm positive I've never felt love until now, this is so much different. Also I did ask her out awhile ago and she said yes, but like the idiot I am I never took her out because I was worried about what others at work would think. I'm not sure if she has feelings for me, last I knew she didn't have a b/f either. I think she has some feelings, probably not how I feel, (I'm a realist, at least I like to think lol), but she gives me a lot of signs, like she always talks about me, the other day she complimented my personality, she said I was a great guy. There's others but I'm not going to ramble on about them. I'm not sure though, I just don't want to read too much into that because of my feelings.
But that's why I'm here, I'm in love and I get very sad and lonely when I think about her, I just don't know what to do. I want to tell her how I feel maybe after I get another job would be best, either that or I just leave and move on without ever knowing which I think would make me more sad. I just don't think I could walk away from her like that, how do you walk away from the most beautiful thing in your life? Well thanks in advance, I just your thoughts. Thanks guys.

I wonder why you feel lonely and sad when you think of her. Have you really analyzed that? Maybe it's a matter you already know you and she cannot be together? Are you planning to move on and get another job?
I ask those questions because it sounds like you have already determined in your own mind it isn't meant to be.
If there is no policy against it at work, I would suggest you ask her out again and see what is real between the two of you. At this point you are just imagining and pining and dreaming.
The only way you will know what she thinks and feels for you is to ask her, everything else assumption and imagination in your mind. It may be a case of unrequited love. It doens't make the feelings you have any less beautiful.
And if it isn't meant to be, well you have come across something very special in yourself in having the experience.
look at all the energy you put into that blog.. that is love. go to our gut and feel live with your heart....
what would love do? that is your answer.
Idybird, yes she's 9 years older, but she's young for her age, like looks. I haven't figured out why I have these feelings when I'm not around her, or when I think of her. I just chalked it up to being in love, I never knew what people meant by it tears you apart inside until now lol. Your theory about me thinking it can't be could be right, but that's how I am when it comes to love and relationships, I never think anyone likes me ever, I never get close to anyone either. As for another job, yes I probably will be getting another job after October, they are cutting back where I work, so I'm starting to go job hunting again.
I probably will ask her out again when the time is right, she also compliments my car all the time, like way more then anyone else I work with which I find kinda weird. I think she likes it better then I do lol. I have pics of it in my profile, the next time she asks me about it if nobody is around I might ask her if she wants to go for a ride sometime and go out somewhere.
meadow, I agree I wouldn't want to scare her off, God if she only knew how I felt she'd probably think I'm weird or something. But really I never have these feelings for any woman. I heard from another co-worker the other day that she was saying she's burnt out and fed up. It just about tore me apart hearing that, I just think if she gave me a chance I could make her happy, that's all I want is to see her happy. I think I could too cause I'm a pretty funny guy :)
But anyway, thanks again, not sure maybe I watch too many movies and listen to Coldplay too much, but all I know is she's special to me, and she's the most beautiful person I've ever met. I'd give her the world if I could.
Whatever happens, I just want to say as mikes16 has said, the feeling you have about this woman really comes through in your words here and is lovely to read.
