Take a bus trip or your car and get out of the area at least a few times a month. You will see what a huge difference that will make in how you feel. You aren't in prison. You may feel trapped where you are, but you have options.

can't be beat for overcoming anything. Someone on here always says something about being polyanna .. ish. Believing in your own ability to improve your life is nothing but common sense. People have accomplished all kinds of things just because they wanted to improve their life more than anything.

When the weather is nice, I just open the front door and have the screen door in and I just sit on the couch and listen to the birds sing in the morning. It is beautiful and it is so pleasant and makes me grateful to be here and able to enjoy that.
I enjoy the Geckos (that are not selling car insurance) on the back patio walls and sometimes you see adults and young ones together.
When the bushes around here bloom, they are beautiful and are breathtaking.
