Yes, all I do is work and home. Thats it. No social life. Someone I really got close to online cut ties with me because he said I bring too much drama, wtf? I only liked him too much. Now I feel so worst than ever.

I believe loneliness and a lack of social interaction is definitely damaging to our minds. I have been bedridden for the greater part of 5 years now and I honestly believe the loneliness that comes with it has affected my social skills negatively. I definitely have a harder time conversing with others and keeping up friendships more so than I did last year.

Pappillion was a great movie, sorry you have to live in such a sucky place

Take a bus trip or your car and get out of the area at least a few times a month. You will see what a huge difference that will make in how you feel. You aren't in prison. You may feel trapped where you are, but you have options.

I can see how that situation could really get to you, but determination
can't be beat for overcoming anything. Someone on here always says something about being polyanna .. ish. Believing in your own ability to improve your life is nothing but common sense. People have accomplished all kinds of things just because they wanted to improve their life more than anything.

I would have replied earlier but I keep on throwing away my internet cord, to stay off internet, for a few hours....once it was for days.

My conversation skills have certainly gone downhill, along with even having the correct change at a store.

And then there's the half-deafness I got last year from an ear infection.

I have two cats, which makes relocating difficult, along with little money and no transportation. It is good to be close to enough stores, with a vetinarian even only two blocks away. And a part of me realizes I could be worse off.

I'm certainly glad I can at least express my feelings on the internet. When I talked about my past to a volunteer at the local mental health drop-in, he yelled at me to GET OVER IT! he, by his own admission, used to get drunk with the ex-husband of another voluneteer who helped run the local mental health drop in----that's how he wound up running the place, after her.

Being close to stores and having a vet that close are definitely good things. Being able to have your cats with you is just incredibly wonderful.

agree it a lonely life, add the drama of orrible people in the world. we are sensitive souls and result get steam rolled over by users and takers. I would never turn to my family in an hour of need, they would kick me down I learned this at a young age. my first memories of my father tieing me up with a long tie from his robe, I was very small, my wrists were tied. He laughed. Another time play fighting I kicked him accidently in the 'private parts' innocently, then he used that as an excuse to go mental on me physically beat me, I was small & young. There was no love. I am drunk on my hate, in the words of Eminem. The worlds greatest rapper that can tell a story keeps me going.

I had to take my family out of my life because they were toxic and were causing the huge problems in my life. Once they were out, I began to slowly begin improving.

I tend to find things I enjoy and sometimes they are the little things. When the weather is nice, I just open the front door and have the screen door in and I just sit on the couch and listen to the birds sing in the morning. It is beautiful and it is so pleasant and makes me grateful to be here and able to enjoy that.

I enjoy the Geckos (that are not selling car insurance) on the back patio walls and sometimes you see adults and young ones together.

When the bushes around here bloom, they are beautiful and are breathtaking.
