Loneliness Support Group
Loneliness is an emotional state in which a person experiences a powerful feeling of emptiness and isolation. Loneliness is more than the feeling of wanting company or wanting to do something with another person. Loneliness is a feeling of being cut off, disconnected and alienated from other people. The lonely person may find it difficult or even impossible to have any...

I didn't like the answer but could understand why they never asked me to do anything. It was because they did think of me, just didn't give me the option to say I couldn't come.
Perhaps this is the same for your friends. Unless you ask them you will never know.
I know its hard when when your not well and money is tight but try and appreciate what you do have and you'll soon feel better about your situation.
It's a sad truth, however, that your friends are largely dictated by your financial circumstances. There are probably plenty of new friends just waiting for you, who are also a bit broke.
You can have just as much fun with no money.
I always blame myself...but I actually think it's THEM.
People like me just fine until I don't agree with them about something, or don't do something they want me to do.
I think your only real friend is inside yourself. It pays to be nice to her.
I feel your pain but honestly I'd rather be without friends sometimes. You don't always like them, the things they do or say. You always have to think about others yet they NEVER seem to think about you.
Just our selfish, selfish world I think.
If you do find a true friend, hang on. I can guarantee most people will only have one or two in their lifetimes.
Imagine how much WORSE it would feel if you were rich and had all these "friends"....you wouldn't know who was there for the money. Now THAT would be horrible.
I don't care about having friends nowadays as much as I did back when I was a kid in school. I can find various things to do on my own than be with other people. I don't mind going to the movies by myself because normally if I go with a friend, they pick either a really dumb movie or a movie I didn't want to see. At least by myself, I get to see what I want without anyone judging me.
My sisters refuse to do anything with me if I don't have any money. They will all go to the mall and I will ask to come but they'll say no because I'm broke. It hurts.
My friend never did call. My best friend, neither. Pretty soon I'm going to get a new phone and I'm not even going to bother giving them my number. I'm already going to go back to 300 minutes instead of unlimited minutes because no one calls me anyway and when they do, it's for like 30 seconds.
I finally got some money from state disability (half going to rent and most of the final half going to paying either my phone bill or getting a new phone) so either way, I'll probably exist again to some people. It's rather sad.
I am in my late 30's and single. Also unemployed so money is tight so I understand that aspect all too well. I am searching for true friends who treat me cherishingly. I know they are hard to find.
Friends who value and cherish you are very hard to find indeed. I thought my best friend was someone like that but I guess not. I understand she has a mom to take care of, so maybe she's going through some hard times.
I also see on facebood hpw people go out and do things and never ask me. And when I do hang out with people I feel like I'm the one always asking, they rarely ask me.
