You had people to talk to today and even got a hug! It could be the start of a regular meetup and conversation. You could even start a book club or something.
Maybe if you didn't let the one cat's possible death consume you, it might make you feel a bit better and let your cats feel a bit better too.

You'll get a real kick out of the ending and itI was just a perfect ending considering the book involving the cats. It was a very imaginative ending.
I tend to ready books that put me in a happy frame of mind.

Now on being standoffishness... a) there ARE some people whom I don't greatly to encourage 2 pay me much attention. So if one wants to hug me, I can politely put up with it. . b) But too there are nice ppl whom I like, and I try to be open to them. I may sometimes have to work at it.
They may not be so reflective, yes - maybe I'm unable maybe to imagine actually being super good friends with them. But in "Games People Play," Berne says ppl give ea other strokes and w/o strokes ppl will dry up and die. (Harlow's monkey's) Anyway

I bought a second hand tower a month/whenever ago, but now I want to sit at library computer every day.
Not his office, not home, no -- but that place up there was his favourite place when he was doing his thing. It provided his chosen level of outside stimulus. (Background stimulus,.. nearness to a place to take a break.) One floor down was a coffee lounge.
Over at the uni library he could have gotten a carrell. but it would have been 1/2 block from coffee(tea) and a few ppl sitting about.
It's about degree or distance of shut-awayness. Proper amt.
