I am askng the universe this question right now.
I have been feeling anxious and fearful for the past few weeks. It feels like I have no one to turn too. I am all alone is this world. Sure I have friends and some family, but there is not that special someone that I feel I can turn too or rely on that is not going to judge, or abandon me. This is a horrible feeling. It is when I have these feelings of being isolated in my own shell that i begin to have cravings for cocaine and gay sex. And I am not even gay. what is up with that?
I crave an intimate relationship. With a women. Love is what i need. I guess that i need to be able to offer love first off though. Sometimes I feel so selfless and giving of myself and then other times the neediness comes back. I do not like being needy for love. That is a lonely feeling. Good God is that an empty place to be or what?

I have been working quite hard and steadfast on this part of my recovery since I overdosed back in March. Not quite sure what I need!! I do know that I feel homeless. I like the expression "home is where the heart is" Does this mean that I feel heartless as well? At times yes. Hence the lonliness lol. Cool I just had an appifany.
I am 52 years of age and do not have my own home. Yet!! Heart first and a home will follow? Or would that be vici verca?
Now I am excited to get myself a home. RV living here I come.

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...

The best thing to do would be to get in touch with your Higher Power through Prayer and meditation. I highly recommend meditation. There are many who believe that the reason for covid is to make us stop everything for a few moments and get in touch with the God within us. It is there that you will find more love then you will know what to do with and it is there that you will find peace. There are many books available and many you tube tutorials to help you.
God Bless
Best of luck, friend. You are a remarkable human being, you have value, and you deserve love. That love has to come from you, first, however!
This is not my first rodeo, so to speak. I have been in therapy for a good 30 years now- on and off of course, and have been to 5 different treatment centers for drugs and alcohol I have come a long way in these past 30 years and I am still here with my chin up for the most part. .
Thank you again.
I reached out to the universe and the universe reached back.
