Hey all. This is my first post here so sorry if this isn't the right place.
I feel like this is my worst and loneliest time in my life. I have had troubles with anxiety and self-confidence all my life, and now that I have graduated college with an aerospace engineering degree, I am having trouble finding a job. Alot of my friends are doing great things in their lives, and I feel very alone.
My loneliness makes me reach out for a relationship, but the way I go about it is often very obsessive. The most recent girl I've talked to has said she doesn't want a relationship right now. I tried to use her to make myself happy, and I was persistently messaging her despite saying she doesn't want to talk to me because I was making her uncomfortable. Right now, I'm trying to kick my habit of cyberstalking and comparing myself to others by quitting and blocking all social media.
I'm trying to stop this urge to check up on her. I worry about her, and I have the thought in the back of my mind that she will change her mind about me. She has body image and self-confidence problems that I feel like I could help her with, but she doesn't want to talk to me until I get over her. I feel so gross for being like this.
I'm trying to get my life back on track before using social media again. Recently, I've been looking into possibly joining the Coast Guard.

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmonĀ

My job search is very hard because there's alot of competition, and I graduated with no experience and low gpa. I've gotten alot of advice on this already. I really just need to start working somewhere.
I've talked to my therapist once about my cyberstalking, and she said it might be a form of OCD. I already feel really guilty about it, and I usually don't message. The girl I was talking to said it was ok for me to message her at first, but then said she is uncomfortable talking to me while I am crushing on her. We used to be friends, and I hope to be friends with her again in the future.
I'm quitting social media until I feel better about my life because I feel like I compare myself to others too much, the things I post make people uncomfortable, and social media enables me to cyberstalk, which I never want to do again.
