A car - for now
Food - for now
and that's about it
Your ex mother in law is very wise. That quote is one I need to remember. Thanks for sharing.
Hmmm, what I am grateful for???? There are so many things, but the most important, are things I don't take advantage of. The ability to enjoy watching the sun through the leaves of a tree, birds singing, just experiencing each day & the positive things that are offered. I spend far too much time dwelling on loneliness & depression. I'm grateful for this site & people like you that remind us we can fill our minds with gratitude and positive thinking or chose to ignore what we have to be grateful for & concentrate on every negative aspect of our lives. Thanks for this post!
wife of the couple up the street has moved back in, and her little dog
yaps constantly. I live d-o-w-n the street. I don't see how the people next door stand it.
It was my favorite time of day. So relaxing. I hope they split up again, if they aren't going to do anything about the dog.
I'm sooooooooooo annoyed.
I'm grateful that I don't have any pets :)
I'm grateful for my Mom. She never says "I love you", but she surely shows me she does. She's virtuous in so many ways. She's worked so hard to have us in a mortgage free home. Most thing I like about her is how she shows she appreciates life even when she has very little money. I think it's a learnt habit. She MAKES herself happy. I'm working on that attribute that she possess.
I'm grateful for my son who is transitioning to the playful stage at 16 months old. I like to hear him giggle even though I may be angry at the time. 16 months ago, there were no giggles in the house; just me & my 2 cats. But I'm also grateful for my female cat; she's the playful one.
And I'm grateful for this DS site.
I am grateful for remembering to laugh . I am grateful for a list of things , but finding the funny in situations has really helped get me through . That may sound odd , but it works things never seem as bad when I can laugh .
...........and a vehicle that's paid for!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hee hee
My five senses are in working order, and good mother earth is sustaining me. Nature is soothing, though it can be cruel too.
Oh yes, there's lot to live for.
