Loneliness Support Group
Loneliness is an emotional state in which a person experiences a powerful feeling of emptiness and isolation. Loneliness is more than the feeling of wanting company or wanting to do something with another person. Loneliness is a feeling of being cut off, disconnected and alienated from other people. The lonely person may find it difficult or even impossible to have any...
This is the first time that I’ve posted on any sites I normally just have a look for advice but I’m really struggling tonight and feel like there’s no point anymore. Since my really close uncle passed in November out of the blue things got worse, that weekend I found my partner at another woman’s house at 3am when he said he was working. I have no one to talk to and nobody I can be honest with. I don’t have any friends and can’t tell my family about how I feel. I’m so angry all the time and worried to the point of not being able to sleep most nights now I don’t know why I’m like this everyday. I’m starting to feel like there’s no point in me anymore. I don’t want to wake up the next day.
I’ve become dependant on him in the relationship, he wanted a few days apart for space because of how we have been and I can’t get through the first one without it making me worry and stress thinking he’s with someone else because of what’s happened before and how closed off he is compared to what he was. I can’t deal with these feeling and not being able to speak to anyone I feel like I’m going crazy.

Can you identify these rom-coms from just a screenshot from the middle of the films? This is a multiple choice quiz so even if you're not entirely sure you can always take a guess and at least have a 25% chance of getting it right anyway, so why not have a go?! https://www.buzzfeed.com/alysaurus688/rom-com-screenshot-trivia-quiz

You say your 'partner' was at another woman's house, not your 'husband'. If he's not your husband there is probably less motivation to fix your relationship.
There’s definitely point in you - I'm sure your uncle would say so. The anger is probably coming from two sources: 1) your partner's infidelity (at least it really looks that way but perhaps that woman is a friend he's talking to about his problems with you!); 2) the stage of grief you're in (denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance).
Be calm about everything - this unhappy time in your life will pass. Hang in there!
When he returns you will need to talk. You both need to decide what type of relationship you want. You need to know if he's actually had an affair.
If he has, decide on whether this is the person you need at all. If this is s pattern of behaviour you're signing up for a relationship full of hurt, turmoil and uncertainty.
YES, there's a point to you! Spend these few days re discovering yourself, what you like, what you need.
Good luck with everything and keep posting. You may find some helpful advice on the site.
He’s said it was just talking but I’ve said I would’ve been fine with that he needed to let things out on someone else but how he chose to do it - he had lied for weeks and been there until 3am in the morning claiming he’s working and they had only done it on nights her partner was out. Her partner didn’t know about it either. It was all just suspicious on its own.
We’ve had the few days apart and he came back and said he’s leaving me it’s done and nothing I could say will change the result. It was my uncles birthday yesterday and his words were ‘don’t you think it was a coincidence I left you on the one weekend I knew you’d need me the most when it’s his birthday and you’ll be struggling’ who does that??
He said it was because I would’ve made him feel crappy by me feeling bad over the bday and I told him it wasn’t the case I wouldn’t have been like that.
It’s done now anyway and I guess it’s for the best. I’m going to look into councilling just to get past somethings myself.
Thankyou both
