This is gonna sound really pathetic, maybe even petty. But I have to get it off my chest.


I haven't been sleeping well. I don't want to sleep anymore. Every night, I get woken up from a dream, about someone I used to know. I can say for certain I loved a girl I met on here and dated on and off for a few years. She loved me, but something happened. To this day, I'm not sure what that "something" is, but I have a strong feeling I'll never see her again. I haven't seen her in a few years now.


There's another girl I had a crush on since the sixth grade, and I barely know how to talk to her. Somehow, life separates us for years then brings us back together for a short while. She knows I like her, she turned me down once, and right now is dating someone and has a child, though not with her guy. I have strong feelings about her, and I know I shouldn't. I can't have her. But I can't stop thinking about her or dreaming of what could have been. It's too much of a coincidence for us to keep reuniting like this.


After all my dreaming, I wake up sad and lonely, unable to shake it off for hours. I hate it. I hate my own heart. 


I don't know what to do. I'm just tired of being lonely.

This comment might sound a little pathetic and cheesy too but I am such a big believer of fate. It might sound pathetic hearing it but I am sure you are pretty good person and any girl would be ever so lucky to have such a good heart. If things do happen with you guys often then it must be a sign to get it off your chest *just dont get punched by his man though.* If the person still does not reciprocate the same feelings from you, then its time to move on, my man. Sorry to say it but its true. I am sure your right girl will be there for you

I encountered my ex-gf every now and again for years and she finally got married, and every once in a while I do bump into her still. That door closed a long time ago.

So long as she's dating I'd say don't mention how you feel about her.

Wouldn't it be better to meet a gal at a comic con (I read a bit about you) who doesn't have a kid or kids and who's totally into you? Even then go slow and don't reveal too soon how you feel about her. Basically, if something works, it works!

Good luck! girlschase.com had a few interesting articles you may like to read. e.g. don't look for a relationship, look for dates...stuff, like that. I wouldn't pay for the course myself.

Lavender, that didn't sound cheesy at all. :p I tend to believe in fate more than anything, myself. I don't know what to call it, running into this girl every so often. Maybe it truly was never meant to be, but I know she's someone I don't want to lose again. Even if she doesn't feel the same way, it sucked not having her around.

Robotnik, you're probably right about all of that. It wouldn't be my place to just pop into her life after a few years and say how I feel when she's currently with someone. It'd be awkward and just not cool on my part. It might be better to meet someone at a con one day. I mean, as you said, she might not have kids and we'd know we like some of the same things. It's just hard to NOT feel something for someone when they keep coming back, you know?
