Always need a friend. Too afraid however that the friendship will go sour, for one reason or another. Thats what usually happens and it ends up being my fault regardless. Always looking, but too afraid most times to reach out.

I'm alway's looking for friendship. I am very lonely. I used to think I had many "friends" over the year's. I ended up being used. Probably My own fault for not realizing how Shallow they were.

I will say that you can have friends, associates, a life and still be lonely. I have 2 best friends, I ignore their calls because it's too hard to talk to them. I go to work and laugh and joke, no one knows I go home alone and sit miserably. I have family who would love to spend more time with me, but loneliness is so much more than not having people to be around, more than not being invited to parties, more than not having upcoming events to go to. Loneliness for me is not having someone you can truly connect to, who you look forward to seeing, just so you can talk to them, hear the things they have to say, their ideals, beliefs and getting beyond excited just thinking about this interaction. Loneliness is the the absence of that person that doesn't make you whole, but that makes you forget yourself. Not lose yourself but forget your problems, issues and opens up the world for you to see beyond yourself so that you selflessly see life for what it truly is, whatever that may be, for YOU. And this person doesn't have to be of the opposite sex, nor does the relationship have to be sexual in nature. My phone's ringing right now, a friend that wants to chat, but I'm still heartbreakingly lonely because I have nothing to say.
