Loneliness Support Group
Loneliness is an emotional state in which a person experiences a powerful feeling of emptiness and isolation. Loneliness is more than the feeling of wanting company or wanting to do something with another person. Loneliness is a feeling of being cut off, disconnected and alienated from other people. A couple days ago, I read still another ex-classmate's obituary in the local paper. It's certainly scary to read such stuff, about a # people, in their early 50s, as though 50 something is the typical life expectancy.
Many of these obituaries have friends and family stating what a wonderful person the deceased was, which is probably true, which can add some more scariness to the mix. There's so many articles over the years of how people with lots of friends and family outlive people who are all alone.
I do wonder how much stress was involved in these early deaths from natural causes. One ex-classmate became a chief of police of another town, which is certainly a stressful job. He wound up with pancreatic cancer, with his legs even being amputated to try in vain to save him.
An ex-classmate, in another town, who I hope to call, would tell me how he would throw up sometimes before work, cause his boss kept on pushing him to work faster. Last time I called him he was complaining of neck pain, though I wonder if that's stress related, cause years ago he had to move out of town, when he lost his apt.
Being alone, and alone & poor, can certainly be stressful, and depressing, with enough people ending their own lives or having an early death from it, with some newspaper articles of police looking for next of kin, when the end does come.
But, maybe for some people, myself included, no matter how much they hate being alone, a solitary life is some sort of survival mode, cause they really wouldnt be able to handle the stress of all the family and friends they wish they had.

Can you identify these rom-coms from just a screenshot from the middle of the films? This is a multiple choice quiz so even if you're not entirely sure you can always take a guess and at least have a 25% chance of getting it right anyway, so why not have a go?! https://www.buzzfeed.com/alysaurus688/rom-com-screenshot-trivia-quiz

After all that, life is so good now, peaceful, the screen door is in and the cats every morning stretch out on a quilt in front of that door enjoying the birds out front. I love listening to the birds sing.
Mom has now passed on and I hope she has finally found peace and happiness.
an online health questionaire gave me about 68 years, though i kinda doubt i'll make it to that.

boss at work, She is the only person who would even be interested
in knowing I died.
I am definitely in survival mode, I couldn't handle being around a lot
of people. I think my life expectancy will be in the mid 50s.
In many ways I lead a low-stress lifestyle. I work from home, I don't smoke, eat healthy, exercise regularly, drink only moderately, and have a lot of freedom to do the things I like, albeit alone. But I am aging prematurely. I went gray early, went through menopause early, my eyesight went all to hell early...and I really think the constant stress of loneliness, unhappiness with my family, and worrying about finances is to blame. It makes me wonder what the future holds for me, in spite of all my healthy eating and exercise, etc.
I agree about survival mode. But I do think if any kind of stress goes on for too long, it takes a big toll.
