I do not have a psychiatrist, or a Counselor.
I don't like to tell people, because I feel I would be a bother to people, or maybe I am to proud. I don't know. Maybe both, because I don't like looking weak to my family. I love my family, I love being around them, but I still feel lonely like something is missing.
@Angeleyes92 -> This is true, but I figured out another part of my problem was the lack of interaction with fellow adults.. Being I am a stay at home Dad, I take my son out to the playground and the stay at home moms tend to watch me like a hawk and yet stay away from me. I'm afraid that they are thinking or pondering that I am a bad person wanting to hurt their kids when out on the playground, while I watch mine play, It's hard feeling lone an outsider. Though, I do understand - and I don't expect them to come up to me and talk, but I feel like my being there is somehow effecting my son in a negative way, being when my wife takes him to the playground he gets invited to play-dates.
There are people that can be in a room full of people and feel lonely. There are many different dimensions to feeling alone.
We are all here for each other and are here to help.
Hugs to you
Long has art had cases like yours Mordici. Kafka? In th' post-WW II era, the Existence Philosophy movement could spell it out as not before:
Loneliness of the soul - when everything else is okay or even good.
Hermann Hesse I discovered in the , and have enjoyed his things. Reading *about* him, even, can be helpful to those who inwardly need something and don't quite know what it is.
(Just looked up _Steppenwolf_ and see indeed it was made into a film. The fact Max von Sydow was put in the leading role makes me think the film has true content.)
welcome to a good place,
Caleb
Anyway, I do have a bit of an art background - being I do have an associates degree in graphic design - I love photography and the kind of that. My mind goes more to the science side of things, so art is a bit of a struggle at times - though I have learned to be able to think with both sides of my brain.
