I have buried feelings of grief about my parents' departure, as example. The went several years ago. Last week I found myself crying; and thought how in the few years after their dying I cried hardly at all.
/ And, of course, thoughts -- expecially about Dad -- plague me all the time. I feel like I did not do enough..to make him feel appreciated. Things need to be gotten out.
Sometimes more than a memory and a journal entry, really, is needed. If one has a therapist worth his/her salt, it is possible that counselor-person could kind of encourage one to reli.... Nuff' said.
