New to the Diagnosis

Hi- I was just told this past Friday that I have HPV. I was basically told that there were no treatments, that I should not smoke, take folic acid, not tell my husband, and that there is no way to know when I got this since they only start testing for it at 30 and over.

I'm upset, confused, and ashamed. I feel dirty- and wish I knew when or how I got it! I am so sad that this is happening. I don't have symptoms or anything...just this diagnosis....to come back in a year for my annual exam. And that was it. :-/

The first time I ever found out about HPV was when I was diagnosed.. I also felt (and feel now) dirty, sad and betrayed. I was sort of easily rejected for my honesty with the person I was seeing at that time.. I worked hard on hiding and getting better, but now it is back and I feel horrible.. I feel scared that I am not doing my best in getting informed and sanitizing everything I touch every second..
But I believe, that when life gives me lemons, ,y job is to make the best f-n lemonade on this planet and eventually be happy!

I’ve had a lot of experience with this ladies and it is way more common than you think. You may feel dirty but that’s far from real. It’s life. Like you say... lemonade! Lol
Read up on it and that should help. Most people clear on their own. Good luck!

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
