Liver Cancer Support Group
Hepatic tumors are tumors or growths on or in the liver. These growths can be benign or malignant (cancerous). They may be discovered on medical imaging (even for a different reason than the cancer itself), or may present in patients as an abdominal mass, hepatomegaly, abdominal pain, jaundice, or some other liver dysfunction.

I do not have HepC. I have post infantile giant cell hepatitis of Cryptogenic origin. (Meaning they don't know what caused it). it was mild, but I am now 51 and my liver is shot.
I live in the Chicago metro area and have been under the care of the Northwestern Memorial Hospital tx center since 2008. I am in the process of dual listing with Indiana University Health in Indy, a 3 hour drive.
My meld was recently raised because my liver tumor grew to 2.1 cm. I am doing pretty well right now. In January, I nearly died when my spleen spontaneously ruptured. I spent 6 weeks in the hospital!!
North Carolina is very pretty. I looked at colleges there back in the late 70,s.
i don;t know if i do or not. i do not think i do.
i am going tomorrow to get a strategy in place and c what is to be done. it is 5 hrs from my house and it is so very late , i have a lot of difficulty driving and staying awake and i am worried about that. i really wish i had someone to help me. i do have some friends but i wanted to save their favors 4 something really important rather than a chauffeur.
take care, be gentle and safe.
hugs,
kat
