This community is dedicated to starting over after a divorce. With the marriage over, how do individuals begin a new chapter in their lives and what hurdles do they face? Divorce is often one of the most traumatic periods in a person's life. Studies show it is the second-most stressful event in life, after the death of a spouse.
Nothing like being woken up at 3:40am by multiple text messages from my ex-husbands (current ex-girlfriend) .... this is what the messages said:
Since you haven't figured it by now. There's nothing you can do to keep John and I apart. You should understand the only thing that will every stop his and mine relationship is me. :*) I'm going to give you a seriously friendly piece of advice, stop spending so much of your time trying to cause problems between him and I. Start spending that time to make yourself look better (than Maybe) you can find Your Own Man! John has always been and will always be more in love with me than he ever was with you. That's why he is willing and pressuring me to go to counseling... So he and I can live the happy life he always wanted and never had with you!
Funny she thinks I'm trying to brake them up. I have told him each time he calls me crying (when they fight and brake up) that they need to seek counseling. I could care less if they are together just as long as the violence does not affect our daughter. But now she's brought me into the drama. She's starting to bully me. I can't help it that they fight all the time and that they do not trust each other. So leave me out of it.
I mentioned to him that she messaged me and he didn't think that the messages were all that bad. So, here I am feeling the blow of the words that cut me so deeply for many years just cut me all over again. This time by his ex gf. They deserve each other. They deserve all the drama, the bs, the roller coaster of emotions, the pain that karma has to offer.
Me, I really need to start counseling - - I need to make time for me. It's clear with out counseling I may never be able to move forward. I may be stuck in this rut of feeling unworthy.

You won't get closure and this guy sounds like he is well under the thumb - it is karma and he sure isn't gonna be happy under her rule lol
