First time since divorce...

This isn't really the first time that I have dated someone or have had a relationship with someone since my divorce was final in Oct 2007 but it is the first time that I am not settling and I'm really happy and enjoying it. I have dated others only to pass the time and even got kind of serious just so I wouldn't be alone, but this time I have known him for 6 months before we even moved on to this level so I actually like him. I am very scared though at the same time. So scared that I don't want to get emotionally involved even though I like him a lot and we're physically involved. And being a woman I could very easily be labeled a slut in this situation. Just want your opinions. Let me know what you think, no holds barred...

I don't judge like that anymore...... I wouldn't tell you it's wrong....my divorce taught me not to do that.

No one's gonna judge you here..Just follow your heart, not your head. I think your heart will always take you down the right path...for you. Just take it slow and easy, there is no reason to get in a hurry, if he makes your heart beat, enjoy it and run with it.

Im so green with excitement with posts like this. You seem so happy in the moment and that to me is the most important thing. Enjoy the feeling and enjoy living. "Slut" well let's just say I've lived the "good girl" and look where it got me?! lol. So throw the titles to the wind and continue to enjoy the ride you're on. Sounds like a blast!! I wish you enough...

You've already been through a divorce... Nothing worse could really happen could it? Life is too short to second guess or worry about what others think of you. Take it day by day, Don't try to predict the future, have open commmunication and you should be fine ;) Good luck!

I been physically involved with someone during my seperation. I didn't plan on it, it just happened. I was only with my ex. Then I felt a little guilty, but why should I my ex left me and didnt want me anymore. Why can't we feel enjoyment? I am a catholic gal who even confessed this to a priest.

So, I guess if your a slut, I am aslo.. But a slut is a person who sleeps around and your not. I am also scared and confused about any real emotions. I talk to the guy a great deal about my feeling and that helps. He understands that I am confused. He respects me. He says lets just take it one day at a time. If nothing works out I have a best friend.
