I think I might have been abused but not sure

When I was 6 years old, I had to have surgery on my private parts. A few days after the surgery, I remember the nurse coming into my room. She asked me if I wanted cream on my penis and I said no. (It wasn't my penis that was sore) Later that day y mother asked me the same question and again I said no. Well my mom over ruled me and told the nurse to put some cream on it anyway. So the curtain got closed and my mom watched while the nurse literally massaged a ton of cream on my penis. I remember it feeling good and I got a little erection and the nurse and my mom just looked at each other and smiled while the nursed continued to massage cream all over my penis.

I went through alot of pain because back in those days surgery was kinda crude compared to today but despite the pain, I remember that penis massage being pleasurable. I think that throughout my life, I always sought to have sex or masturbate whenever I was in physical or emotional pain and I think it might be the result of that experience when I was only 6 years old.

I think if this post was on the sexual abuse board you would get more feedback as it is a bigger group. However, you said that the operation had nothing to do with that area of your body. So it does sound suspicious of what the nurse and your mother would need to massage this area. I did have operations in this area of my body and no cream was ever applied after the procedure. Moisture leads to a great breeding ground for infection. So yes without knowing the nurse and your mother this does sound like abuse.

As I remember, there had been alot of bleeding and alot of dried blood which had never been washed off. Why, I don't now. It actually did have something to do with the area in general but not directly. I think they just thought there was chafing however it felt fine and I told them that.

It's really not that big of a deal to me. I was just wondering how people define abuse and what crosses the line and what doesn't is all.

Seems abit weird bob, did u eva ask your mum about this situation ? Sounds really srtange if the op was nothing to do with your penis why put cream on it? Dont really know wat to say on this

I agree, bob. It sounds suspicious to me. Is you mother around to ask? If you're in therapy, have you brought it up to your therapist?
I would want to know if it kept coming back to my memory...kids don't know bad. If something feels different, you question it, right?! I would.
I hope you get a satisfactory answer. Don't be afraid to ask, though, okay?

actually you are right. johnson and johnson wrote a book on that and cosmopolitan magazine puts out articles on it. it relieves pain because it sends out endorphins that kill pain, that is the afterglow or feel good feeling you get. we were always told its rude to go out in public without setting the tone for the day by getting off first. judith krantz who wrote the book scruples gets into some of that in that book. that is why some people are so incredibly calm all the time. in college i think people are so stressed they spend a good part of the day doing that, to ease tension.

odd about your mom. and the nurse as well. child abuser/predators generally work together in large groups, that's why they are hard to bust, they cover up for each other and they come from all walks of life, money and education have nothing to do with it. a child predator is mental and really should be a capital offense and executed for their actions.

    So mad at Xfinity!  They're trying to charge me $115 per month for the same service I had been paying $50 the last four years. I took the equipment to UPS for shipping and cancelled my subscription today!  Next door was a cookie shop called Crumbl. I had heard of it before but never went in until today. I don't need one more sugar fix, but maybe it will help with my sad) grieving heart....$15...

    check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....
