So the relationship I fucked up with a lie is totally dead, I think. Not even because of a lie. We were broken up, then as we were fixing things I lied about the most insignificant thing. She even started to seem to be coming around to me after that lie. Because I was making some significant strides in fixing me.
Dont get me wrong, I'm not changing for her, I'm changing for me and my kids. But she kept going back and forth, telling me not to get me hopes up, but then getting somewhat physical with me.
Then last night, she went out and said she'd call me soon. I waited 5 hours and out of true concern I texted her. After a bunch of no replies I should have taken a clue, but it was the witching hours, and I was truly afraid that she was hurt. Then I sent an email about how I should be stop venting to her about our break up. I had good intentions. But now she's mad that I was smothering her and possibly ruined her friendship.
But then I went over to talk to her today. She kept saying it's over, she'll never feel the same for me. We agreed to stay friends. As I'm leaving though, the smothering subject came back up. She said how can I figure out if I miss you, if you keep texting me and won't leave me alone. Then she finished with I hope I do regret asking for this space.
What does that mean? Do I still have a chance? I don't get it. She's still texting me. Not just once but a few times. I told her I wouldn't initiate contact, but I'll still talk to her when she texts, to give her space. I don't know...
