Liars Anonymous Community Group
A support group to provide those with a compulsive addiction to lie a place to share hope, strength and courage with others like them; solve our common problem and help others with a compulsion to lie. We aren't alone!
Well it's been 5-days since I admitted I'm a liar and joined this site. It was an uncomfortable first night - both literally and metaphrocially speaking. My couch is just a bit too short to make a comfy bed but that's the outcome for being a liar. I was kicked out of my own bed. So that's the physical
Then the metaphorical as I spent the night listening to every creak and noise in the house thinking everytime something creaked that she was up and leaving me. But so far, so good she's still here! and even more importantly, I've not lied. At all. About anything.
It feels weird but also libeerating. Being honest is an odd feeling. But at the same time, it doesn't feel like anything has changed. I did think that this site would be more active though, which is a little disappointing. I mean we're all here for similar reasons - in so much as we talk crap for no good reason - but there's not as much interaction as I expected. Still we're all caught up in our own problems. Still if anyone needs a friendly ear. Just ask.
