Hey Folks!

Alyssa has gone ahead and set up our very first online meeting! This post is for people to sign up to attend so that Alyssa will know what to expect. The meeting will be held on the following website this coming Sunday, June 12th from 8-9 pm EST. If you are interested in attending, please reply to this post with your name and location.

Closer to Sunday, once we have some folks signed up, we will post the link to get to the meeting and also how the format for the meeting will work to give everyone an idea of what to expect.

This is a very exciting time for our group, and I want to thank Alyssa again for helping LA make this huge stride. Our group will never be the same after this, and only for the greater good :)

If the meeting can be on a Saturday or Sunday evening, I can be there... Although I have online lecture for school from 9-10p on Sundays too...

Hi folks,
I should be able to make it to the meeting (5:00PM - 6:00PM Pacific Daylight time). This is a pretty big step forward for this group!

hey alyssa, i don't see a link for a meeting set up yet on the meetingsonline.com website. can you go ahead and set one up so i can go in and see what it looks like?

If anyone wants to join the meeting on meetingsonline.com this evening in about 20 minutes, copy and paste the website above into your browser, then click on chat now in the upper right hand corner. Create a user name then pull down the list where it says recovery chat, and keep scrolling down until you see LA. Select it and then click "Enter". See you all soon! I will have my DS chat on if anyone has any questions.

PS Alyssa, I can copy and paste the 12 steps and traditions into the meeting for everyone. I'm so excited!

oh dear, I missed the meeting. It's been a really rough day... but I made it through. I will check early enough next time to make sue I am at the meeting.

I'm very interested but that is a very bad time for me. Is there ever a meeting about 1 PM in the afternoon? I think I desperately need this meeting as I have no idea what a 12 step program is like.

Hey Erin, here at Liars Anonymous, we're actually just starting to experiment with online meetings, and as of yet, there are no physical meeting locations. Keep your eyes out though! I'm sure there will be more online meeting times posted :)
