I feel your pain, it's a horrible addiction I have done the same to my husband..too many times and caused too much pain. He has been an angel to me and stuck with me - but there is a huge strain on it. The fact that you have admitted that you have a problem is the biggest step towards getting better. I can only offer my own efforts for survival and that is a daily prayer, looking at myself in the mirror each day and asking, if I lie who will I hurt? If you know the answer to that, stop and think before you speak. If you show your wife the steps that you are going to take to stop the lying, she may take it to heart. Keep the faith and stay strong!
