Liars Anonymous Community Group
A support group to provide those with a compulsive addiction to lie a place to share hope, strength and courage with others like them; solve our common problem and help others with a compulsion to lie. We aren't alone!
I have also lied to friends. I tell them "I am something or I have something" and I now understand why i do it because I am not happy in myself and it is easier to lie than tell the truth, It is easier to believe in your head that people will only like you for the mould you create in your head rather than being proud of who you are and simply believing thats enough.
From this moment on I am making a promise to myself to be true to me... Keep up with my Councelling, Keep speaking the truth to those around me, accept that people will challenge what i say and allow myself to me "WHO I AM".
Only I can change the path of my life no one else. I have my back 100 % and I need to live truthfully so I can intergrade in society as a normal person, as a mother and the ex wife to my husband, friends and other family.
If i am challenged by someone about a statement I have made I need Stop, listen, Breathe, Process, Think and Speak.
Only I can make this change happen and I MUST DO IT FOR ME.......
