A support group to provide those with a compulsive addiction to lie a place to share hope, strength and courage with others like them; solve our common problem and help others with a compulsion to lie. We aren't alone!
Lying is something that is not natural.However, when you start, stopping is almost impossible. It gets easier each time and you get in deeper with each story. During this to loved ones and family is the highest form of descent. From a professional liar, please heed my words. Only evil comes from lying and breaking the chain is done only by the grace of God! Pray daily for help as it is too strong to beat alone! Keep the faith.
This post is so true - unfortunately too true. I have been dealing with it for almost 20 years. Once it gets started it can be a downward spiral that drags so many people along with you. However, to stop it - not an easy but also not impossible - it's a matter of facing reality but also the internal drive to want to stop it. The strength needs to come from within - just take it day by day. Every day without a lie is one closer to stopping.
Very well stated...Lying is not natural and it is the trick of the devil for us to allow ourselves to fall into the pit of sin. However it is not impossible to stop...nothing is impossible with God's grace and mercy...it is impossible to stop without HIM. Everyone of us is covered in God's grace we just have to seek Him so that we know that. He takes our sins and places them in the smalls of his back. He loves us so much. Hang in there everyone...we have each other for support as well.
