Good evening. Well here I am, a liar. Someone whose untruths has ruined many lives including my own. I can’t do this anymore. My other half of 10 years made me realize I have a real problem and I recognize now that I need help. I’m very afraid though. I’m afraid that everyone I’ve lied to in the past will NEVER see me as anything but a liar no matter what I do. But what drives me the most? My highest motivation to stop lying is the fact that I don’t want to lose the man I love. He’s standing by me while I go through this. Here’s what I know: even though lying gives me a temporary release to a certain situation, I know I am trapped. I don’t want to be a slave anymore. I want to be free. I want that freedom that honest people have. The clear conscience. The integrity and honor. More than ever, I want that. So here it goes. First step right? I have a problem lying and I need help. Now to move forward. Any advice or tips will be greatly appreciated.
