Activity here would form a support network. The key to any of these 12 step programs is being active and present. Now I am assuming that this group appears to be heading that way. If this is not the case then I apologize. While at the same time put my two cents in for a group that would follow no matter how loosely the 12 steps. These steps are a way out with the help of others who understand what it is that you are going through.

another thought might be to have one or two times during the week at which time members of this group coudl sign on and be present for any and all activities.

Well, that's how I understand that. That's why I try to be active here and want to encourage others, especially all those who have subscribed and did nothing else afterwards.
As for the time of being logged in. Well, I'm usually logged for few hours every day. But it is very difficult to say which particular hours are those (especially that there is a time difference - I have just passed the noon some 20 minutes ago). It may also change somewhat soon (as I hope to find a job). But on business weekdays You can be pretty sure to find me almost everyday here.

I appreciate your time here and for now it is perfectly fine with me to sign on when I can.

I came around a few weeks ago and found that there was so little activity that I drifted away. Having reported that, I will be looking forward to more interaction from as many members who can find the time and words to participate.

I missed the week-end but I am here to say that I am looking for this day to be a lie free day. this allows me to hear my higher power and focus on what is really at hand and not in my id/ego brain.

I've been being here since December. There were very few people here at that time and as far as I remember just one or two active. Now we have a chance to receive positive effects from this group as there is always someone that will answer pretty quickly. The fact that I am not alone, and most of the stories seems very similar to my gives me a lot of strength. A fact that I won't be judged here lets me say aloud about my mistakes. I really need that.
Today I am in the need. I know I will find support here. One day I will be strong and someone else will feel blue - then I will give him/her my helping hand. That's how it works...

I just joined today...and let me tell you what a relief it is to know that I'm not alone in this world. My lies have cost me a good majority of my 'friends' and the feeling of isolation is almost overwhelming at times. I am grateful to be here and will offer as much wisdom as I can from my own personal experiences.

Yes, I know. I read carefully everything in this group - journal entries, discussions, recent activities, goals, just everything. So I can see, You've been here for a short time. Glad that this group can help.

i haven't been back in a while, but you're right....do it, or don't.
and i need real help from you guys, so i need to respect the community more.

the reason i need you guys is, frankly, because there is nowhere else...as i saw on another site, there is no formal liar's anonymous because if there were, no one would show up when and where they said they would.

seriously, though, i respect the courage and humility of everyone here, just for being willing to face that we have a problem.
i love all of you, truly.

I joined today and have been reading all I can find on compulsive liars...ME... i found a CODA group that meets Wednesday nights so I will be attending.. I am making a commitment to recovery and hope I find some tools here and at CODA to deal with my 50 year addiction to lying...
